Conflict, betrayal or honest realisation?
Abrupt awakening, from a dream to a dream.
No nightmare in sight, but confusing visions.
A new feeling, strange, but strong and precious.
One gliding away, it's foothold treacherous.
But for once not a deluge of pain.
All that made sense, starts slipping away;
a new truth, stronger, one that's here to stay?
Like a mirage of paradise, to a dying man;
just before he sees gods heavenly plan.
Delusions of grandieur, in a simple fools mind?
Or true visions of joy, all fated signs..?
As strong as the feeling, one dares not dream,
the mind of the betrayer, is strong and lean.
Rooted in fear, feeding on hope,
a romantics dream, his own rope.
But still in the chaos, deep in the fight,
the fool and the romantic, hangs on tight.
